Ylva Ceder is a Stockholm-based musician and composer working within Nordic ambient and modern neoclassical.
Her debut album, Cure Poison, was released in 2024 on Flora & Fauna and it sets out a clear, melodic language shaped by acoustic instruments mixed with electronics, layered arrangements, and careful pacing. The music unfolds through shifts in tone and density, grounded in structure rather than studio effects.
With Tree Vibrations, she expands the format to a broader ensemble. The album concentrates on acoustic instrumentation, resonance, and direct interaction between players. Isak Hedtjärn, Per Texas Johansson, Pauline Burke Clason, and Patric Thorman contribute throughout the record, strengthening its range while maintaining a consistent musical direction.
